The monthly meeting of the Tidy Towns will be held on Wednesday the 8th of October,deferred in deference to the Parish Mission.

A Boil Water Notice was issued by  Irish Water and Longford County Council on Wednesday the 3rd of September. Most of the Southern half of the Parish of Cashel is affected. Specific details, advice and instructions are given with the notice.

Set Dancing classes will be held in Sorohan's Lifebelt Bar,Ballyleague,each Tuesday at 8.00 p.m. Beginners and experienced dancers catered for.This is an opportunity to get fit while having fun.Everybody welcome.Please Contact Mairéad Casey on 086 8546433 for further information.

Again thanks to the people of Cashel for a fantastic response to our newly formed text alert system. Mobile numbers are now being compiled and anyone who still wishes to be included can drop name ,address and mobile number with  5 euro into box in  Kennys Country Store .Further update next week.  

Southern Gaels
Well done to the U-12 team,who beat Grattan Og in the final last Saturday morning in Pearse Park.

The Parish Mission is already under way. .Members of the Vincentian 'Ember' team  commenced the Mission on Saturday the 27th of September. We welcome the three members of the 'Ember' team,Fr.Aidan Galvin,C.M., Fr.Seán Farrell C.M., and Mr.Thady O'Connor. Daily Mass at 7.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. Evening Mass at 8.00 p.m.The Mission runs to Friday the 3rd of October.A member of the Mission Team will be available in the Church each afternoon from 3 o clock to 4.30 for Confession,private consultation or discussion.

The Enrolment Mass for First Confession and First Holy Communion will be celebrated ,on Sunday the 5th of October, at 10.30 a.m.
