COMMUNITY GAMES
Well done to everyone who took part in the recent County Art and Modelling competition in Carrickedmond.  Cashel came away with a few medals – Under-10 Model Making 1st Tony Bermingham, Under-12 Art 1st Oisin Brogan, Under-12 Model Making 2nd Luke Mulvihill, and Under-14 Model Making 2nd Aine Bannon.  Good luck to Oisin and Tony who now go on to compete in Athlone in the All-Ireland finals.

SINCERE SYMPATHY
The Parish of Cashel and beyond was deeply shocked and saddened last Monday, March 19th, to learn of the sudden passing of Brendan Carberry, Killinure, Lanesboro and formerly of Derryhaun.  Brendan was a larger than life character who had a tremendous sense of humour and anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting him came away in much better spirits.  The Irish tradition and way of life meant som much to him and he was a very proud Irishman.  He had a genuine love of life and was always proud of those close to him.  His sudden departure from this life leaves a very large void and we extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends, particularly his wife Deirdre, his son Kevin, daughter Katie, mother Patricia, father Peter, brothers Peadar and Noel, sisters Kitty, Mag and Pat and indeed all his many relatives and friends.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

CASHEL GAA LOTTO
The Cashel GAA Lotto now exceeds €8,600.  To be in with a chance of winning, play your numbers now!  There are weekly, monthly or yearly options available.

LENTEN MASSES
During Lent, Mass will be celebrated at 7.00am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  This arrangement will give a greater number of people an opportunity to come to Mass during Lent.
