CELEBRITY BAINISTEOIR
Congrats to our Celebrity Bainisteoir, Roz Purcell, who won home advantage for Cashel in our first match against Ballinora on September 2nd.  It promises to be a very exciting occasion!  

HERITAGE WEEK
Heritage Week is currently running countrywide until August 26th.  The Corlea Trackway Visitor Centre is open daily form 10.00am to 6.00pm.  Last admission is at 5.15pm and admission is free.

CASHEL GAA LOTTO
Cashel GAA’s Lotto still stands at €10,000.  There are weekly, monthly and yearly options to play your numbers.  You’ve got to be in it to win it.  Don’t forget to play!

HALL COMMITTEE
The Hall Committee will meet in "The Hill" on Tuesday 21st at 8.30pm.  All members are asked to attend please.

CEMETERY SUNDAY
Cashel Cemetery, August 26th.  Mass and Prayers for the Dead, 6.00pm.  Please note, this Mass will replace the 10.30am Mass in the Church.

DIOCESAN PRILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK
The Ardagh and Clonmacnois Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Sunday September 2nd.  The bus will leave from "The Hill" at 10.00am.  Tickets, priced at €16.00 each will be available at L & K’s Village Shop.  Confessions from 12.30pm, Anointing of the Sick 2.30pm, Mass and Eucharistic Blessing of the Sick with Benediction, 3.00pm, followed by the Rosary Procession.

PATTERN DAY
Pattern Day will be celebrated at Lady Well, Derrydarragh, on Saturday September 8th, the Feast of the Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Mass follows the recitation of the Rosary at 6.00pm.  This Mass will replace the Saturday evening Mass in the Church.

WEDDING CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Mairead Clyne and Cormac O’Keeffe who were married on Saturday August 11th.  We wish them a long and happy life together.

NEW ALTAR SERVERS
Parents/Guradians of Altar Servers are asked to return complete Child Protection forms to Fr Brady as soon as possible please.

TAX RECLAIM FORMS
Tax Reclaim forms for 2011 and explanatory letters have been issued.  Thanks to those who have already completed and returned their papers.  The early receipt of remaining forms would be greatly appreciated.

FETAC COURSES
Lanesboro Community College proposes to deliver four Level 5 FETAC courses starting in September – Outdoor Recreation, Sports and Recreation, Tourism and Office Administration.  For information leaflet and application form please phone (043) 332 1139.

NEWTOWNCASHEL TODDLER GROUP
Newtowncashel Toddler Group will continue throughout the summer months and meets every Tuesday morning from 9.45am – 12.00 noon.  See you then!
