The new season has started with a ray of sunshine after all the sport we have enjoyed in Newtowncashel over the last few months.  It was time for the younger members of the community to take to the field or the comfort of Kenagh community centre for our under 12 and under 14 draughts teams to compete.  Both teams won theirs matches after a close fought battle.  Well done to all involved. Each team will be notified of time and place of next round of competition.  Newtowncashel Community Games would like to thank Kenagh Commmunity Games for their hospitality and welcome.
Newtowncashel Community Games would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the Cashel club football team and it's mentors many of whom would have competed in these events over the years. It was some couple of months for all of us! Well done to Roz and all her team for promoting sport and Newtowncashel in the one breath.
