There is a lovely article by Valerie Bond on her neighbours, the Black Island people.
It has rare photos showing the islanders drawing home the hay and turf from Bonds harbour 100 years ago and the famous oarsman Pat o Hara.

A play has been chosen, "Philadelphia, Here I come" by Brian Friel. A poignant play with many comedic moments, centered around a young man moving to America. Gareth O'Donnell is portrayed by two characters, "Gar public" the Gar that people see and talk to and "Gar Private", the man within, Gar's conscience. The play is based in Co Donegal and has a cast of thirteen. Our members are already rehearsing diligently and we look forward to announcing the dates soon.
