CELEBRITY BAINISTEOIR TABLE QUIZ
Cashel G.A.A. are holding a Celebrity Bainisteoir Table Quiz hosted by our Bainisteoir,model Roz Purcell,in the Peer Inn,Lisnacusha this Friday night the 14th of September at 9.00 p.m.Entry is €40.00 per table of four.Please come along for what should be a fun night's entertainment.

“BY THE WAY”
A new book on public art in Ireland called “By the Way” by Ann Lane has been published by Wordwell Ltd.  It includes nine sculptures in Newtowncashel, in addition to a sculpture in Ardagh, four in Longford Town and one in Granard.  The book is widely available.

LONGFORD CITIZEN’S INFORMATION SERVICE

CONDOLENCES

STATION MASSES
The Autumn Station Masses will be celebrated from the 4th to the 31st of October.  Householders who are to host the Station Masses, may arrange dates when convenient if they have not already done so.

PATTERN DAY
A good crowd turned out for Pattern Day which was celebrated at Lady Well, Derrydarragh, on Saturday September 8th last, the Feast of the Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Mass followed the recitation of the Rosary at 6.00pm.  This Mass  replaced the Saturday evening Mass in the Church.

ALTAR SERVERS
Parents/guardians of incoming Altar Servers are asked to return completed Child Protection forms to the Parochial House immediately, please.  A new Roster cannot be drawn up until the papers are returned.
