Well done to the team on their two fine wins at the weekend, over Ballymahon (played in Cashel on Friday evening) and Legan (played in Legan on Sunday afternoon) in the Michael Moran Memorial Cup.
Well done to Kenagh who got the better of Cashel in the Jim Smyth Memorial Match played in Cashel on Sunday evening.  Donations at the turnstile went to Longford Hospice.
Last Sunday evening saw the parish of Cashel and the local GAA Club on the popular TV programme, Celebrity Bainisteoir!  It showed the local lads playing Ballinora from Co Cork in the hour-long programme, and the parish of Cashel and its people were showcased at their best!!  It was great to see everyone enjoying the occasion, and to see so many familiar faces on TV!  And it was brilliant to see Roz and the team having a great victory, even if we did already know the result!  Their defeat of Ballinora brings them to the next round which will see them meeting Naomh Bríd of Donegal which will be televised in two weeks time.  Well done to all!
And just a reminder that the Final itself will be played in Parnell Park, Dublin, on the evening of Friday October 26th.  The team are staying in Bewley’s Airport Hotel on the Friday night and room rates are €69 for a double room, or €89 for a family room, B&B.  Do tell them that you are a Cashel supporter to avail of this special rate.  Book early as it is on the October Bank Holiday Weekend and rooms might not be available closer to the match weekend.  Contact Craig Kearns, Hotel Sales Manager Tel +353 (0)1 8711200.
Buses are also being organised to travel to the Final and two options are available, for those who wish to travel up and back on Friday, or for those staying over and travelling back on Saturday.  Contact Mick Casey at (086) 828 9811 or to book.
