Clonmacnois Pattern Day takes place on Sunday the 13th of September at 3.00 p.m. This Pattern Day will commemorate the 1400th anniversary of the death of St Columbanus.
The death occurred of Annie Teresa (Nan) Farrell nee Donnelly,Clonmee on Monday last the 24th of August.Nan was a true lady whose passing will leave a great void in the lives of those who knew her.She always had a kind word for everyone that she met and also had a great sense of humour.She will be sadly missed. To her son Anthony, and all her , relatives and friends,we extend our deepest sympathies. May her Soul Rest in Peace.

The Harvest Festival and Field Day schedeuled for last Sunday the 23rd of August was cancelled due to the forecast of adverse weather. In lieu of the Festival and Field Day,a fundraising night will be held in Gav's Bar,Kenagh on Saturday the 5th of September. Barbeque and Pig on a spit .Music with waltxing and jiving competitions.
