Saturday next 28th May is a massive and very special day for the Club and Parish as we celebrate La Na gClubanna at Pairc Chiaran. The day’s events commence with “Coaching Clinic” by the Senior Football Panel for all underage Teams at 5.15p.m., followed at 7p.m. by mass for deceased members and Parishioners and Blessing of Club Grounds by our Parish Priest, Fr. Merlin Kenny.   
If weather is not favourable, on the evening, mass will be celebrated in the Church.  After mass we proceed to the Parish Hall “The Hill” at 8p.m. for Launch and release of Anniversary Book “125 Years of Cashel G.A.A. by local Author Jimmy Casey, N.T. with our special guest, Stadium Director of Croke Park and Cashel Native, Peter McKenna, plus refreshments, music and entertainment.   The night will also feature the promotion and releasing of details of our major Fundraiser of the year “Night at the Dogs” at Mullingar Race Track on Saturday 9th July.   This will be followed by Seisium and entertainment at “The Local”.   
A splendid night is assured so we extend a warm Cead Mile Failte to all.

The Tidy Towns are reviving Bonfire night. It will take place on Saturday the 18th of June in the Quarry Park. The Nature walk around Lough Slawn will take place at 7:00 pm.  A great nights programme has been put together. Hans the story teller will arrive in his pony and trap. The famous psychic John King will be in attendance. There will be bouncing castles, party games, The Burgerman and a Licenced Bar by The Local.
A date to remember and a night you won't forget.

Please note that,that on Saturday June the 18th,Vigil Mass,will be celebrated at 6.00 p.m. ,in the Church,to facilitate the Bonfire night in the Quarry Park.

Recitation of the Rosary continues Friday evening at 7.30 p.m.

The Walking Group continues on Saturday mornings leaving The Hill at
10.00 a.m. All are welcome.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament continues every Wednesday frpm 4.p.m to 8 p,m,.

A trip to the Fr.Patrick Peyton Memorial  Centre ,Atytymass,Co.Mayo  will take place on Tuesday the 26th of July 2016.  The cost is €30  including refreshments,lunch and entertainment, Coach departs Kenagh at 9.00 a.m.,returning at 6.00 p.m. approx..To secure a place,please contact Rose Egan,kenagh,by post including contact details and payment.

Ballymahon friends of Crumlin hold a raffle in aid of Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin,on Saturday night the 11th of June,in Kiernan's Pub, Ballymahon. Prizes include,30 minute aerobatic experience,vouchers,hampers etc.Tickets are €5.00 each or 3 for €10.00. Music by Night Owls.  Draw takes place at 10.30 p.m. Your support is very much appreciated.

The Longford VTOS programme is now recruiting. It offers full time business and computer training free of charge.
To qualify you must be over 21 and in receipt of a social welfare payment.

Cairde Beag enrolment is now open for September 2016 and with the introduction of the second free preschool year, meaning a child can avail of free preschool from the age of 3 years, places are very limited.  If your child was born between 1st January 2012 and 31st August 2013 then your child is eligible for free preschool in September.  I have 2 spaces left so if you or someone that you know has a child who is eligible but has not already booked them in then please contact me as soon as possible on 0863175753.
